How to mount an Air Valve on an inflatable boat
Our Valves are directly screwed into the air chambers. This grant a constant air pressure as well as an easy
change in case of failure.
The valve consists of two parts. The inner thread, which is already installed in the hose and the actual Valve. When you buy it, you get both parts. The female side will remain in the air chamber and will be replaced just the valve itself.
To release the valve, you will need a suitable valve wrench (Exactly this product).
Turn the valve counterclockwise holding in place the inner part. Please pay attention to the inside part of the valve during this operation. Once unscrewed the old valve is enough to screw with your hand the new valve.
Use the valve wrench to re-tighten the new valve clockwise. Then check with a mixture of water and soap, to check for air leaks. If no bubbles are visible, it is tightly fixed.
